Jesus Christ. The death count from the Burmese cyclone is at 22,000, and probably way more than that, because how can you count when you don't have electricity, transportation, or communication? The military junta won't let aid workers have visas, while human suffering continues and the body count grows. Putting on my Captain Obvious hat here, but shouldn't suffering and death trump pride, and worries about the perception of hypocrisy, every time?
